Obituary of Faye Davey

WEST COLUMBIA: Services for Faye Irene Davey, 85, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. Toni L. White. Interment will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Davey, widow of Francis F. Davey, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late Frank Fitzgerald and Lula James Fitzgerald. She enjoyed needlework and arranging flowers and loved Bingo. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Agape Nursing Home for all their loving care. Surviving is her daughter; Irene " Cookie" Farano of Leesville; sons, Tom Davey (Jane) of Swansea and David Davey of Cayce; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Davey was preceded in death by a son, Timothy John Davey; three sisters and six brothers.
