Obituary of Frances Robinson

A funeral service celebrating the life of Frances Kirk Robinson, 99, of Columbia will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with entombment to follow. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Robinson died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Charles Jones Kirk and Frances Kelly Kirk of Polkton, NC. She received her education at North Carolina Business College and The University of South Carolina. She was secretary for Carolina Concrete Pipe Company, General Construction Company, and the City of Columbia for many years. She had been an active member of First Baptist Church of Columbia since 1940. Mrs. Robinson was predeceased by her husband, Henry B. Robinson. Surviving are her nieces and nephews.
