Obituary of Foster Baughman

SWANSEA: Funeral services for Foster Albert Baughman, 82, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Pastor Barry Pruitt. Interment will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to service at funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Sandy Run, 442 Livingston Rd., Gaston, SC 29053. Mr. Baughman passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. Born in Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Walter Clinton Baughman and Maggie Mae Seigler Baughman. He was a retired carpenter. Surviving are: his loving wife of 59 years, Dottie Baughman of Sandy Run; sons, Wade Baughman (Theresa) and Ray Baughman (Lynn) of Sandy Run; sisters, Etrulia "Jackie" Couch of Langley and Shirley Lunsford (Alvin) of Graniteville; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Baughman was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
