Obituary of Ronald Marchant

WEST COLUMBIA-Funeral services for Ronald Heyward Marchant, 53, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Lynch. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Dickey, Tommy Miles, David Clark, Dean Godfrey, Brian Burns and Rick Wilson. Mr. Marchant died Friday, March 16, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Margie McRae Marchant and the late Carlisle Bryan Marchant, Jr. He was employed with CSC as a Senior Programmer. He is survived by his mother, Margie McRae Marchant of Lexington; his wife, Debbie H. Marchant ; daughter, Ashley Nicole Marchant; and son, Brandon Carlisle Marchant all of West Columbia; brothers, Curtiss Carlisle Marchant of West Columbia, and Randall Bryan Marchant (Melanie) of Cayce; and his special dog Boogie.
