Obituary of Winifred Doss

WEST COLUMBIA: Memorial service for Winifred Taylor Doss, 79, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, at Jackson Creek Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dr. Walter Mack Burriss. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. Ms. Doss passed away Monday, March 19, 2012. Born in Harrisville, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Henderson Taylor and Helen Hoggard Taylor. She attended Jackson Creek Baptist Church; and was retired from Square D Company. Survivors are: her sons, Henry Mandrell (Stacie) of Columbia; Alan Mandrell of Asheville, NC and Ken Mandrell of Sylva, NC; sister, Willena Carroll of Fayetteville, NC four grandchildren and three great grandchildren/ She was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Ann Shoosmith.
