Obituary of Alvesta Mitchell

Alvesta G. Mitchell Columbia, SC Memorial services for Mrs. Alvesta G. Mitchell, widow of the late David S. Mitchell, Sr., will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Greenlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mrs. Mitchell passed away on March 31, 2012. She was born May 11, 1922 in New York City, NY to the late Julius and Alvesta Gray. Surviving are her loving son, Howard P. Hansbrough (wife Jenny); loving granddaughter, Hatacha P. Hansbrough; grandson, Howard P. Hansbrough III; great-granddaughter, Halicia P.M. Hansbrough; a sister, Pearl; a niece, Vera Monroe (husband Jimmy); and three great-nephews. She is also survived by her loving and caring dog, ?Molly?.
