Obituary of Ann Schmitt

LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Ann Schmitt, 86, of Lexington, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Officiating will be Father Emmanuel Andinam. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. in Oak Brook Memorial Park, 3007 Hwy. 25 N, Hodges, SC 29653, officiated by Rev. James Crowley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ann's honor to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais St., Ste. 300, Columbia, SC 29201. Mrs. Schmitt, beloved wife of the late Alvin William Schmitt, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Born in Excelsior, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hasugar and Martha Molisch Hasugar. She was of the Catholic faith and worked hard to care for her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Schmitt and son, Bill Schmitt both of Lexington; one brother and sister.
