Obituary of EARLE KIRKLEY

Earle C. ?Buzz? Kirkley died Sunday April 15, 2012 at Fairfield Health Services, where he was a resident for the past 2 years. ?Buzz? was the son of Frankie Louise Yates and Earle C. ?Bob? Kirkley, both now deceased. ?Buzz? was born January 16, 1947 in Columbia. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Kirkley-He (husband Fei) of Little River, SC; a sister, Patricia Kirkley Farmer (Jimmy); a niece, Katherine; nephews, Michael and Robert also of Alpharetta, GA; aunt Bessie and uncle Gene Clark of Columbia, and several cousins of this area. He was a graduate of A.C. Flora High School, and one of his greatest pleasures was walking, especially through Forest Acres, where he spent many happy years. He served proudly on the Cayce Police Department. His last employment was that of Publix groceries in Trenholm Plaza, where on his apron, he proudly wore his father?s Marine insignia. He was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, in Columbia, where he attended when able. His family would like to thank the staff of Fairfield Health Services for the excellent care given to Buzz during his stay there with them. No services are planned at this time.
