Obituary of Nelson Clark

Nelson Edwin Clark WEST COLUMBIA—Mr. Nelson Edwin Clark, 79, of 512 Rainbow Circle, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012. He was born August 28, 1932 in Muskegon, Michigan, to the late Nelson D. & Marvel Clark. He married Peggy Jeffcoat on February 5, 1959, who preceded him in death May 1988. Mr. Clark was a graduate of Western Michigan University and did a tour of duty during the Korean War for the U.S. Army. He was a plant manager of Lexington Blouse, Inc. for 30 years in West Columbia. Mr. Clark is survived by his children, Thelma Denise Migliorisi and son-in-law, Danny Migliorisi of Alpharetta; John Wayne Clark of West Columbia; Skip Clark and daughter-in-law, JoAnn Clark of Simpsonville; one brother Wayne R. Clark and sister-in-law, Norine Clark of Ravanna, MI; five grandchildren, Lindsey Ryan Migliorisi, Zachary Kyle Clark, Savannah Brooke Clark, Jacob Spencer Clark and Daniel Joseph Clark. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
