Obituary of Katherine Cleverley

Katherine Ann Cleverley GASTON—Funeral services for Katherine Ann Cleverley, 56, of Gaston, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. James Roberson. Interment will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the funeral home. Mrs. Cleverley, widow of Lawrence George Cleverley, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon Jackson and Beatrice Spires Jackson. Mrs. Cleverley was retired from Lexington Care. She had a great love for flowers and enjoyed her Koi Pond. Surviving Mrs. Cleverley are her daughter, Patricia Jackson of Gaston; son, James Kevin "Noot" Coker of Turbeville; grandchildren, Tyler J. Coker, Maci Nicole Coker, Kayla Robinson Stokes, Abigail Kaytlin Jackson, and Tiffany Nicole Jackson; great grandchild, Brelyn A.V. Stokes; brothers, Kenneth L. Jackson of Cayce and Steven P. Jackson of Leesville. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Patsy Faye Roberson, James Howard Jeffcoat, and Clarence Jeffcoat.
