Obituary of Charles DeLoach

Funeral services for Charles Spurgeon DeLoach will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Mr. DeLoach passed away on April 29, 2012. He was born April 15, 1935 in Columbia, SC to the late Charles Spurgeon DeLoach, Sr. and Sara Blackwell DeLoach. Mr. DeLoach worked in the textile industry as an Industrial Engineer with Shakespeare Co., Burlington Industries and Dan River. He attended Clemson University, and then joined the Air Force. He was a longstanding member of the Methodist Church. His favorite pastimes were gardening and woodworking. Surviving are his wife, Jean DeLoach; daughter, Joi Remoll; son, Keith DeLoach; brother, Tom Deloach; and three grandchildren, Charlie, Hunter and Nick.
