Obituary of Patricia Pittman

Services for Patricia J. Pittman, 73, will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens of Elgin, SC. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home. The family requests friends may bring a favorite book to the service to donate in memory of Mrs. Pittman. Mrs. Pittman, loving mother and devoted wife, passed on May 2, 2012 at Providence Hospital. She was a member of the Sumter Crafter?s Guild. Surviving are her daughters, Lynn J. Dollarhide (Patrick), Ellen B. Pittman (Eddie Griffin); sons, Eric O. Pittman, Paul L. Pittman; brothers, Thomas O. Hunt (Timmie), Charles L. Hunt (Barbara), Ronald L. Hunt (Sol), and Harry P. Hunt (Charlene); sister-in-law, Kathy Hunt; grandchildren, Lukas W. Dollarhide, Joshua K. Pittman, and Victoria Rose Pittman; 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, SGM Warren E. Pittman; a brother, William J. Hunt; and her parents, Joseph O. Hunt and Ethel Jane (Sharpe) Hunt. The family wishes to thank the Providence Hospital ICU Staff for all the loving care they provided to Mrs. Pittman.
