Obituary of Mary Driggers

Mary Clemons Driggers, 99, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born in Gilbert, SC on February 16, 1913. Mary was the daughter of the late Alice Shealy Clemons and Lonnie Melton Clemons. She was married to the late Marvin D. Driggers. She is survived by sons, J.F. Driggers and Charlie Driggers (wife, Claudia); daughter, Shelby J. Driggers; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, David D. Driggers; three sisters, Annie Bell Shealy, Effie Bowen, and Dale Hook; and a brother, Lonnie Clemons. Funeral services for Mrs. Driggers will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 845 Leesburg Road Columbia, SC with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
