Obituary of David Rawl

David Allen Rawl, Jr. SWANSEA—A memorial service for David Allen Rawl, Jr. 36, of Swansea, will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Mr. Mitchell Taylor. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Rawl passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012. Born in Lexington, he was the son of David Allen Rawl, Sr. and the late Jeannie Ann Tindal Rawl. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of Sandy Run Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Swansea High School and went on to further his education at Midland Technical College. He was an employee in the Computer Technical division of Colonial Life & Casualty Company. Surviving is his father, David Allen Rawl, Sr. of Swansea. Memorial may be made in his honor to the National Kidney Foundation of SC, 508 Hampton Street, Ste. 200, Columbia, SC 29201.
