Obituary of John Bachkosky

John J. Bachkosky WEST COLUMBIA— Mr. John J. Bachkosky passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Michael Bachkosky. Mr. Bachkosky attended St. Peter's Catholic Church and was retired from the Government Accountability Office. Surviving Mr. Bachkosky are his wife, Gloria Marie Bachkosky; daughter, Deborah Gilson of Round Hill, VA; sons, Christopher J. Bachkosky of Blythewood and Jeffrey J. Bachkosky of Peachtree City, GA; brother, Michael Bachkosky of New York; and four grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Bachkosky, 74, will be held privately. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia will be assisting the family. Memorials may be made in Mr. Bachkosky's honor to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
