Obituary of James Ford

WEST COLUMBIA: Services for James Freddie Ford, 69, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, officiated by Rev. Glenn Boland. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, 1000 B Avenue, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mr. Ford passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Daisy Irene Ford. He attended Olympia High School. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and was retired from the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department. Survivors are: his loving wife, Dorothy B. Ford of West Columbia; daughters, Rhonda White (Reggie) of Lexington and Tina Ford Conrad (Ray) of West Columbia; sisters, Louise Crosby (Wayne) of Columbia and Marie Hagan of Murrells Inlet; brother, Carl Epps (Joyce) of Lexington; four grandchildren, Blake White, Courtney White, Daniel Conrad and Leah Conrad; brothers-in-law, Joe Bundrick (Brenda) and Jake Bundrick; sister-in-law, Beth Franklin (Buddy).
