Obituary of Margaret Martin Campbell

Margaret Rose Martin Campbell SPRINGFIELD—Our beautiful Margie has joyfully returned home to her Lord and reunited with loved ones that for years she has longed to embrace. She was born in Columbia, SC and passed away at her daughter, Jeanne' Delmontego's home in Springfield, SC. She lived a long, wonderful, love filled life. Born July 22, 1924 to Gussie Marie Drawdy and Henry Mashaw Martin of Richland County, she passed on Mother's Day May 13, 2012. Margaret Rose Martin will be remembered by all who knew her for her greeting, "Hello Darling." She was a strong willed, tough, charming woman who lived life to its fullest. She was making and reaching goals up to her passing. She had set a goal to walk down the stairs and go to her favorite restaurant to eat and she did. We will always remember her as an achiever and knew her and spent her last days making good to all she loved. She is survived by her two daughters Kay Francis Middleton Storey (James Storey) of Columbus, GA and Margaret Jeanne' Delmontego of Springfield, SC. Ten grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and eighteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margorie Simons and a son, Jimmie Charles Miles (Sara Anne) of Salem, AL. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held in her honor at 7449 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063 at 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building.
