Obituary of Leroy Shoaf

A graveside service for Leroy V. Shoaf, 50, Eastover, SC will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Garden. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, May 24, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Leroy was born on September 22, 1961 and passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012. He was a gentle soul and will be missed. Leroy is survived by his brothers, Donald Shoaf and his wife Madeline, Joe Williams, Marvin Williams and his wife Gery; a sister, Rhonda Parker and her husband, Dean; his father, R.J. McDowell and his best friends, Sonny Ridgeway and PeeWee Watts; nieces and nephews, Ronnie, Shannon, Susie, Elizabeth (Big L), Donnie, and Pearl; his uncle, George Norman and wife Betty and extended family and friends that will miss him dearly. Leroy was predeceased by his mother, Olive J. McDowell. May he rest in peace.
