Obituary of Nadine Armbruster

LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Nadine Kenner Armbruster, 86, of Lexington, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Bill Egerdahl. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made in her honor to Grace Baptist Church, 416 Denham Avenue, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mrs. Armbruster, beloved wife of the late Adam Myron Armbruster, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Born in Doniphan, MO, she was a child of the late Joseph Kenner and Ruthie Ella Bennett Kenner. She was an area resident since 1979 formerly of Lisle, IL. She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church and retired as a Nursing Assistant after many years of loyal service. Surviving are her daughter, Pharon A. Johnston (Andy) of Lexington; son, Myron D. Armbruster (Barbara) of Beaufort; two grandchildren, Jonathan Tyler (Michelle), Joshua Adam and two great-grandchildren, Chayce and Hannah all of Winter Haven, FL. She was preceded in death by sister, Eveleene Wheeler and step-sister, Verna Keel; three brothers, Eugene Kenner, Joe R. Kenner and Joe L. Kenner.
