Obituary of Jerry Metcalfe

WEST COLUMBIA: Memorial service for Jerome W. "Jerry" Metcalfe, 44, will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. At the conclusion of the service there will be a gathering of friends at Jerry's home to honor and celebrate his life. Mr. Metcalfe passed away June 26, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of Nancy Bingaman Metcalfe and the late Walter Geoffrey Metcalfe. He was a Diesel Technician; and was the owner and operator of TruckMedic. Mr. Metcalfe was a member of two motorcycle clubs. Surviving is his mother, Nancy B. Metcalfe; his loving wife, Janet Sims Metcalfe; daughters, Jeri Lynn Metcalfe and Jennifer Jade Metcalfe; nephew, Allan Snyder, brother, Robert Edward Metcalfe; nephews, J. Harrison Metcalfe and Walter A. Metcalfe.
