Obituary of Mary Jones

Mary Barber Jones has gone to sing with the angels on Saturday, July 7, 2012. Mary was the eldest child born to James Thomas Barber, Sr. and Pauline Hornsby Barber on June 15, 1948 in Columbia, South Carolina. Those left to cherish Mary?s precious memories are her loving husband of 38 years, Ronnie; a son, Chris and his wife Esther; a grandson, the apple of her eye, Aidan; her loving mother, Pauline Hornsby Barber; a brother, Jimmie (Jeannie) Barber; a sister, Terri (Greg) Yarnall; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and her slightly spoiled chocolate poodle, Charlie all whom will miss her dearly. Mary was predeceased by her father, James Thomas Barber, Sr. and her son, Tommy. A funeral service celebrating the life of Mary Barber Jones will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Rosewood Baptist Church with Reverend Louie McDonald officiating and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Remembrances may be given to the charity of your choice in Mary?s memory.
