Dear Family & Friends, Although we did not know Ola Mae Payne Gaston, we were sorry to learn of her unfortunate death. And while we do not know exactly how you feel, God certainly knows accurately how you feel. His word therefore promises that He will actually eliminate death, it's cause and resurrect those who have fallen victims to it. Marvelous indeed! (Isa. 25:8, Rev. 21:3,4, John 5:28, 29) It is only natural that we mourn the death of someone that we love because God did not create humans to die. As you probably know, the bible said in Geneses 1:27 " In God's image He made man" and God lives forever. Since we were created in His image, we too were created to live forever. You may ask: 'Then, why do people die if it was not in God's original plan?' Any defects in humans including death is as a result of human imperfection. Deuteronomy 32:4exclaims "that all of God's works are perfect". and verse 5 says that "the defect (or imperfections) is our own". But how is that so? Do you remember the account in Genesis when God told our first perfect human parents, Adam & Eve to be obedient and not eat from nor touch a certain tree in The Garden of Eden? They sinned by disobeying, passing on sin to us. Thus, death spread to ALL men as if we ALL committed that original sin (Roman 5:12). Will this continue forever? No. For death is an enemy says the bible and all of God's enemies WILL be brought to nothing! (1 Cor 15:26). That truly is good news! Thanks for reading this letter. Please share it with other grieving family members & friends. It is our hope that you've found comfort in the scriptures today. Sincerely, The Crump Family

I may have been only a daughter-in-law, but from the day I met her more than 45 years ago, I loved her. She welcomed me into her family and we were friends ever after. Mae was kind, funny, strong, loving and had a beautiful soul. You will live forever in my heart. Thank you God for allowing me to have her in my life.

Nanny, I Love and miss you so much, and want to be so selfish and have you back, but I know that I can't, and you taught us that being selfish is wrong. I'm just thankful that you don't have to suffer anymore, and that you are moving on to your next journey. I hope with all my heart, that in your next journey God gives you, that you do all the things you ever wanted in this life and didn't get the chance to do. See all the places you ever wanted to see and didn't get the chance to see, and you are loved as much as you were loved in this life. Love you always, BJ
