Obituary of Cora Stone Cedor

A funeral service celebrating the life of Cora Lee Stone Cedor, 81, of Columbia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Copeland officiating and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Cedor entered into eternal rest to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Providence Hospital. She was born in Johnsonville, SC to the late John and Vashti Cribb. Cora was a devoted member of North Trenholm Baptist Church. She retired from Sears Stores Accounting Department after 35 years of dedicated service. Cora was predeceased by her husband, William ?Bill? Cedor, Jr. and her sister, Susie Cox of Georgetown, SC. Surviving are her loving daughters, Marcia Jervey and her husband, John Jervey and Sandra Thompson Trivett; her loving son, James Drake ?JD? Stone, Jr.; three grandchildren, James Drake ?Jason? Stone, III and his wife, Tierney Stone, J. Taylor Thompson, Jr., and Branden Vincent Jervey; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly, especially her extended family at the Waterford Independent Retirement Community.
