Obituary of Heidi Bleckley

LEXINGTON—A memorial service for Heidi Katherina Bleckley, 53, of Lexington, will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2012 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Ward and Rev. Stephen Anderson. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Mrs. Bleckley, beloved wife of William Ernest Bleckley, passed away on July 19, 2012. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Goestua Ljungdahl and Hedwig Birkenholtz Ljungdahl. She was a member of Lexington Church of God. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her husband, William Ernest Bleckley; daughters, Katie Childers (Johnnie) of Columbia and Angela Bleckley of Lexington; son, William Eugene Bleckley of Lexington.
