Dear Family & Friends, We were sorry to learn of the unfortunate death of Mr. J C Hooks. While we can certainly sympathize with you, we do not know exactly how you feel. However, God knows exactly how you feel and He promises that he will not only bring an end to death, but also resurrect those who have fallen victims to it. (Rev. 21:3,4, John 5:28, 29) It is only natural that we mourn the death of someone that we love because God did not create humans to die. As you probably know, the bible said in Geneses 1:27 " In God's image He made man" and God lives forever. Since we were created in His image, we too were created to live forever. You may ask: 'Then, why do people die if it was not in God's original plan?' Any defects in humans including death is as a result of human imperfection. Deuteronomy 32:4exclaims "that all of God's works are perfect". and verse 5 says that "the defect (or imperfections) is our own". But how is that so? Do you remember the account in Genesis when God told our first perfect human parents, Adam & Eve to be obedient and not eat from nor touch a certain tree in The Garden of Eden? They sinned by disobeying, passing on sin to us. Thus, death spread to ALL men as if we ALL committed that original sin (Roman 5:12). Will this continue forever? No. For death is an enemy says the bible and all of God's enemies WILL be brought to nothing! (1 Cor 15:26). That truly is good news! Thanks for reading this letter. Please share it with other grieving family members & friends. It is our hope that you've found comfort in the scriptures today. Sincerely, The Crump Family

God needed you...and while you leave a loving family behind we all know that you will be watching over them. You were a good husband to my sister, a good father/stepfather, grandfather...you will be missed. My darling sister Gail...I know how much you will miss him. Find comfort in knowing that when you are missing him the most is when you will feel his spirit...his arms wrapped around you holding you close. He will let you know that he is happy, and he will be with you for as long as you need him. He lives in your heart and your memories. God bless you Sis! God bless you all. Be strong for each other, and be okay at times when you feel like you need to be alone....take time for yourself. I love you....always!!!!

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Please find comfort in Revelation 21:4 that reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning, outcry nor pain be anymore. The Former things has passed away."

Your pain and suffering is over now. You have a new body and a new home. As much as I hated to see you go, I know in my heart that God was ready for you to come home. I just thank God for the extra 5 years that I had with you. What we went thru 5 years ago showed me that God does indeed answer prayers. You defintely will be missed a lot, not only by me but by your loving sisters, your children, grandchildren and your dear friends. I love you so very much and my life will not be the same without you by my side. I can take comfort knowing that you are in a better place free of all pain. Your loving wife and sole mate, Gail
