Chuck's passing is a sign that the pain and struggle is over. His body is now healed. May his sweet smile remain in our hearts and memories forever. As we mourn our loss, let's celebrate Chuck's life. I will remember seeing Chuck driving around in his VW. Much love to his family and friends.

I witness Chucks progress from a HS friend, to a Man of God - When Chuck found God - his life changed drastically for 'the better' - Chuck's family and friends always respected Chuck and loved him deeply. Chuck was a true man, spending time with family and working with people in need. Chuck and I were never super close but Chuck was always a very nice guy - quick to help anyone in need. Chuck enjoyed following Clemson Athletics (we won't hold that against him-ha). Chuck also enjoyed cars - Chuck and I Drag Raced many times, his VW Bug that was highly modified vs. the Mustang I had at the time. Chuck, will surely be missed - Your sister Marie, loved you especially - putting her life on hold to do for you, what you would have done for her in a moment - had the roles been reversed. Without a shadow of a doubt - Marie loves you and always spoke about you all the time, from your mentoring of her son Dalton with Baseball and how to be a Man -Marie boasting to me of Chucks #1 South Carolina ranking in BMX as a young man. Something Marie, Chuck and her Father enjoyed doing together. You will be missed Sir - Lance, Heather and Aaron Valentine P.S. I'm am positive - THIS IS NOT the platform for hatred. Truly disgraceful display -

Dearest June and family: You have my deepest sympathy in Chuck's passing. Words seem so empty right now, but I know the pain you're going through and my heart is so heavy for you. Judy mentioned on Facebook once that Chuck had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus...Even though I didn't know him personally, I'm sure that his valiant fight with ALS touched and inspired many. Now he is safe and pain free in his Savior's loving embrace. Praying that God will give you an extra touch of His love, mercy, grace and peace during this time and in the days to come. Love you much. Jerry and I want everyone to know how sorry we are that you are going through such sorrow at this time. God now has Chuck in his loving arms and will make him whole again. I remember the time we had a birthday party at our home with Chuck and Tammy as their birthdays were so close. May you know my heart is with each of you and God Bless you all.
