Obituary of Virginia Wright

LEXINGTON, SC: Passed away peacefully in Columbia, SC, on August 3, 2012. A native of Maryland, she was the beloved wife of the late Herbert Clinton Wright. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Charles Christian Law and Gertrude Cecelia Maher Law, and her dear brother Charles Christian Law. Virginia "Ginny", enjoyed swimming and rollerblading into her eighties. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. An animal lover, she adored the company of her cat and shared her life with many pets over her 92 years. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela O'Neal (Frank), of West Columbia, SC, Cathleen Wright Bayne (Steven) of Hanover, MD, her sister and best friend, Shirley Law Hartman of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Sean Franklin O'Neal (Cierra) of West Columbia, SC, Carey Meghan O'Neal of West Columbia, SC, Kyle Edward Bayne of Baltimore, MD, and Erin Virginia Bayne of Ellicott City, MD. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Virginia's life August 25th at 4 p.m., at the home of Steven and Cathleen Bayne, 6432 Skipton Drive, Hanover, MD. Interment will be private, at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia's name may be made to the animal shelter or charity of your choice. Orlando McCauley, Jr., and all the staff of Palmetto Health Richland who gave us their love and support over the past few weeks.
