Obituary of Letha Crapps Golden

CAYCE—Mom left her earthly home on Saturday, August 4, 2012 to be with her Lord, her husband Dave and her son Larry in her heavenly home. She was 87 years old. We will miss her dearly. Left behind are her children, Gail (Jim) Brazell, Carol (Steve) Howell and Bob (JoAnne) Golden, she also leaves her grandchildren, Chris (Frank) Metz, Gary Brazell, Kevin (Angie) Brazell, Christopher (Ronda) Golden, Ashley Golden, Kirk (Missy) Epting, Kim Epting, Troy (Johanna) Golden, Brian Golden, Alex (Sheryl) Golden, Stephen (Katie) Howell. Missing her also will be her great-grandchildren who referred to her as "Grandma G", John-Michael Coutsos, Ryan Metz, Lee Brazell, Barrett & Kinley Brazell, Calen Epting, Cameron & Brooklyn Golden, Conner, Paige, Colby, Caleb, Parker and Evan Golden, Maddie, Hunter, and Stephen, Jr. Howell; sister-in-law, Mary Golden. She retired from the City of Cayce after 25 years of service. She was a life time member of Cayce First Baptist Church where she was involved in many activities, Sunday School, Bible School and XYZ. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a gracious lady. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Cayce First Baptist Church, 600 Holland Ave., Cayce, SC 29033. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be the Gleaners Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to thank Arial Graham and Kristy Jamison of Abbey Road Hospice and Rebekah Croft of Synergy Home Care for their excellent care of our mother.
