Obituary of Pamela Thompson Hutto

BLYTHEWOOD—Funeral service for Pamela Lee Thompson Hutto, 62, of Blythewood, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. H. Larry Jones. Burial will follow in St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Swansea. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hutto, beloved wife of Jerome C. Hutto, Jr., passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012. Born in Monroe, MI and the daughter of Betty Jane Besier Thompson and the late Leo Zan Thompson. A 1968 graduate of Monroe High School in Monroe, MI, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Pam also enjoyed gardening and her animals. She retired from T.J. Maxx Company. Surviving in addition to her husband of 36 years, Jerome C. Hutto, Jr. of Blythewood; son, Robert W. Newman "Bosko" of Monroe, MI; daughter, Tina Hutto (Mike Brasington) of Elgin; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeffrey), Amber and Kelsey; brother, Eric Mark Thompson of Monroe, MI; along with a large and loving extended family.
