Obituary of Michael Watson

LEXINGTON—Mike began his celebration with the angels Saturday, August 11, 2012. He graduated from Airport High School in 1991. Mike was a dedicated and loyal employee of Michelin. He was a completely devoted and loving father to his daughters, Gina Marie and Erika Watson. He is now spending eternity with his first love his Savior Jesus Christ. Mike loved the outdoors. You could always find him gardening, fishing, camping and helping friends. He was a member at Round Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11am in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Donald S. Turner of Round Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving are his daughters; his parents Don and Ann Watson; sister, Michele (Blaine) Terrell; nieces, Katelyn and Kylie Terrell, Susie, Spot and Murray; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased in death by his grandparents, Robert and Martha Crooks, Paul and Lavon Watson. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lal, Shannon, NP, Melissa RN and Terri, RN and everyone at Lexington Oncology. We also want to thank all of our angels throughout LMC who have taken care of us. Thanks to Heartstring Hospice for making Mike's last days filled with respect and love. May you all be abundantly blessed.
