Obituary of Carolyn Fant

A memorial service celebrating the life of Carolyn Harley Fant, 92, of Columbia, SC will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with private inurnment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Ms. Fant departed this earthly life on Friday, August 31, 2012. She was born in Orangeburg, SC to the late George Brewton Harley and Katheryn Rabb Harley. Ms. Fant retired from the Civil Service with the Armed Forces. Ms. Fant was predeceased by her son, Michael Bryan LeGrande and a brother, George Harley, Jr. Those left to cherished her precious memories are two grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
