Obituary of Johnnie Miller

WEST COLUMBIA—A chapel service for Johnnie Leroy Miller, 66, of West Columbia, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Mausoleum Chapel in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Lynch. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington will be assisting the family. Mr. Miller passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Born in West Columbia, he was the son of the late Wilbur Leroy Miller and Bertha Welch Miller. He was hard working, fun loving, generous and giving. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his special friend, Judy Thornton and her family in Florida; daughters, Donna Miller and Stacy Miller; son, Chad Miller; several loving grandchildren; sisters, Mary-Ann Miller, Linda Lee Conner and Gloria Jean Miller; brother, Larry Thomas Miller and David Miller, Jr.
