Mrs. Miller was born April 25, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. Smith and Laura Smith. She was married to her beloved husband, the late Benjamin J. Miller, a highly decorated soldier of World War II. They had no children of their own but they truly had a big family. Ben was the love of her life. She loved Elizabeth Miller Thompson, Ben?s sister, as her own. She worked for many years for Mr. James L. Carter, passenger agent for the North South Southern Railroad. She was a wonderful homemaker and community volunteer and friend to many. All of her family along with her nieces and nephews and other family members and friends were welcomed into her home at any time. She was a true ?conservationist? who was genuinely interested in everyone and everything around her. She loved with her whole heart, and her love for others was greatly returned to her. She was a devoted member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church until she moved to Still Hopes in November 2005. She was the last immediate family member and leaves behind to cherish her memory; niece, Jacquelyn Feagle Holmes who loved her with all her heart; nephew, Larry Smith Prather and a few cousins. She was predeceased by six sisters and one brother, all of whom were born in Thomson, Georgia. On behalf of the Orelle?s family , we would like to thank Katherine ?Kit? Turner for her love shown to Orelle, and to all the caregivers at Still Hopes and with Harmony Care Hospice. We all came to love you and appreciate all you did for her. God Bless You.
