Obituary of Craig Adams

WEST COLUMBIA: Funeral services for Craig Steven Adams, 49, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012, at Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo, officiated by Rev. Ken Jumper. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Mr. Adams passed away Monday, September 10, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Stanley D. and Theda Duncan Adams. He was a 1981 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. He attended The Harvest Church. Craig was a loving son, husband, father and soon-to-be grandfather, who loved music, cooking, spending time on the water and time with his family. He will also be sorely missed by his dog "Tintsy". Survivors are: his father, Stanley D. Adams (Beverly) of Blythewood; mother, Theda Duncan Adams of Columbia; his loving wife of 29 years, Tammie Shumpert Adams of West Columbia; daughters, Charley A. Mosteller (Josh) of Cayce and Anna A. Downer (Vinson) of Pelion; sons, Steven Todd Adams (Jessie) and Zachary Michael Adams both of West Columbia; brother, Todd Adams (Wendy); nephew, Jesse Adams all of Rock Hill; aunt, Naomi Huskins of Pembroke Pines, FL. Craig was anxiously awaiting the birth of his two grandchildren.
