Obituary of Elizabeth Kinder

MOUNT PLEASANT: Funeral service for Elizabeth Adeline Kinder, 87, of Mount Pleasant, SC, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Broadacres Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Jerry Styles. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Broadacres Baptist Church, 2350 Taylor Rd., Cayce, SC 29033. Mrs. Kinder, widow of Luther "LC" Kinder, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late William John Evans and Francis Luella Cheatham Evans. She was a member of Broadacres Baptist Church and secretary of the church for 20 years. Mrs. Kinder was a past member of the Edenwood Garden Club. Survivors are her son, Terry Kinder and his wife Terra of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Clay, Catherine, Michael, Terra, and Lathan, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kinder was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Brooks.
