Obituary of Frederick Pierallini

LEXINGTON: Funeral services for Frederick Eugene Pierallini, 70, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington, officiated by Deacon David Thompson. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mr. Pierallini passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012. Born on March 27, 1942, in Clairton, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick Eugene Pierallini and Mary Billora. Mr. Pierallini graduated from Gannon University and was an avid golfer who enjoyed gardening. He retired from Ansaldo (Union Switch and Signal) after 30 years of service. Mr. Pierallini is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Linda H. Pierallini; son, Dominick Pierallini of Lexington, SC; sister, Barbara Mayzel and her husband Joseph of Clairton, PA; brothers, Alvin Pierallini and his wife Trudy of Florida, Louis Pierallini and his wife Brenda of Cedar Bluff, VA; one grandchild, Trey Pierallini of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Frederick Eugene Pierallini III. The family would like to thank the staff of the 8th floor Oncology unit at Lexington Medical Center and Dr. Steven Madden for their compassionate care.
