Obituary of Donna Jones

WEST COLUMBIA: Funeral service for Donna Elaine Jones, 59, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012, in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the residence of Mrs. Donna Jones. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Mrs. Jones, widow of James L. Jones, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Richard Justice Sessions and Frances Juliette Crawford Sessions. She was a former employee of Lexington Medical Center Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Shealy (Evan) of Lexington; son, Lee Jones (Robin) of Columbia; sister, Betty McLinden of West Columbia; brothers, Ray Sessions of West Columbia and Ed Sessions of Nebraska; grandchildren, Regan Jones, Austin Jones and Juliette Shealy. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard, Charles and Wayne Sessions.
