Obituary of Isabel Keller

WEST COLLUMBIA: Isabel Keller, 95, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Born January 10, 1917, in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late Vannie J. Keller, Sr., and Hattie Osborne Keller. Miss Keller was a member of Park Street Baptist Church. She dearly loved her church and had been a member for 61 years. She was very involved in the children's division Sunday school, Women's Bible Study and was a member of Keenagers. Miss Keller retired in 1985 from the South Carolina Dairy Commission after 28 years of service. Miss Keller is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her brothers, Vannie J. Keller, Jr., Louie H. Keller, and Billy Keller and her sisters, Helen Knight, Sula Keller and Frankie Wood. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Park Street Baptist Church. Dr. Sam Catoe will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Park Street Baptist Church, 2204 Park St., Columbia, SC 29201.
