Obituary of Caroline Buck

LEXINGTON-A memorial service for Caroline G. Buck, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral. Ms. Buck died Friday, October 5, 2012. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lawrence and Stella Paskiewiecz Malek. She was raised in Pine Island, New York; and was a nurse in New Orleans prior to her retirement. She was loved and will be missed by many. Surviving is her daughter, Marion St. Andrew of West Columbia; son, George Buck; two grandchildren, Jon St. Andrew and Michelle Sanders; her sisters, Sophie Martocci of Passaic, NJ and Theresa Hahn of Ormond Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by son, Paul Stendor and brother, Joseph Malek.
