Obituary of Ronald O'Cain

Funeral service celebrating the life of Ronald ?Ronnie? Devon O?Cain, 55, of Columbia will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church (Roof Fund), 806 Universal Drive, Columbia, SC 29209 or a charity of one?s choice. ?Ronnie? quietly passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Dorn VA Medical Center due to cancer complications. He was born in Columbia, SC on January 22, 1957 to Lindo Jennings O?Cain and Helen Coker O?Cain. Ronnie worked for Millers of Columbia for 32 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at the river. He also loved to tinker in his garage. Those left to cherish his fond memories are his loving and devoted wife of 26 years, Lisa Livesay O?Cain; sons, John J. O?Cain and Daniel L. O?Cain; his parents; a sister, Linda ?Jeanie? Rose; his father and mother-in-law, John and Jackie Livesay; a brother-in-law, David Livesay; a host of other loving relatives and dear friends that will miss him dearly.
