Michael was like a brother to Chris and a second son to Slaine and I. We will always have such fond memories of Michael and Melissa playing and growing together. We were so proud of Michael as he overcame all obstacles to become an Eagle. May god bless and comfort you.

Mrs. Marsha and Family - I'm saddened to hear about Michael. You might not believe this but I was thinking of him last week. I was thinking about a particular memory I had with the Scouts and, as is the case with so many of my good Scouting memories, Michael was there. Your son was a true friend and a constant source of optimism - everyone that met him loved him and as I'm sure you know, loving him was easy to do. He was such a great guy. Please know that he left a very, very large impact on me and those lucky enough to be in Troop 331 with him. You and your family have my best wishes and deepest support. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know. Love - Jake

Mike/Marsha/Melissa: On behalf of the USC Football Service Explorer Scouts, we are so deeply saddened by your loss. Michael [a fellow Eagle Scout] was a leader and inspiration to the scouting community with a humor, laughter, and wit to match. He will be forever missed but always remembered. May God Bless you and your family. Michael would say, "Go Gamecocks!

We cannot find the words to express our deepest sorrow on the loss of Michael. I know he came into the this world as a miracle child and he left it the same way. Hopefully his presence at various Scouting functions was an inspiration to others. RIP Uncle Ted and Aunt Shellie
