I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Gibbs hired me at Richland One and I learned so much from him during the short time I worked for him. I'm still surprised when I think back and realize how short of a time it was (little over 2 years) because I have so many memories of that time. Projects we worked on, things he said and lessons I learned. I will never forget him. He had a passion for what he did and he didn't tolerate slackers. He was tuff but fair and you knew what he expected of you and that he had your back. He was a private person but you knew he loved his daughters.

I remember meeting Bob when he came to Columbia more than thirty years ago. He was then, as he always remained, a "straight-shooter". Bob had a keen sense of humor and was always on the move. He helped fashion the long-range building plans for Richland School District #1. He made a mark on those who knew him. May those who knew and loved him be comforted.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Please find comfort in the resurrection promise at John 5:28 that reads: "Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth."
