Obituary of Ursula Nanney

A funeral service celebrating the life of Ursula ?Oma? Anita Nanney, 75, of Columbia, SC will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Nanney departed this earthly life on Friday, October 12, 2012. She was born in Stuttgart-Hedelfingen, Germany to Frederick and Elisabeth Muehleisen. Mrs. Nanney was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Thomas Nanney; her parents; two sisters and one brother. Those left to cherish her precious memories are her daughters and a son-in-law, Traudel Marthers (George) and Nancy Nanney; two grandchildren, Brian Thomas Wright (Misty) and Jessica Lindsey Johnson; three great-grandchildren; a nephew, Helmut Muehleisen; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
