Obituary of James Kenneally

A funeral service for James Greg Kenneally, 70, of Columbia will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service on Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Mr. Kenneally departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 13, 2012. He was born in Washington, DC, to James Joseph Kenneally and Margaret O'Carroll Kenneally. Mr. Kenneally was a veteran Sniper of the United States Army in which he was the record-holding Marksman. Mr. Kenneally devoted his career to the design and management of computer software for the utility industry. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Rebecca Hiers Kenneally; his children, Scott Kenneally, Sean Kenneally (Tina), and Shannon Thomas (David); his step-children, Jennifer Loveday (Randy) and Russell Daniels (Katrina); his father, James Joseph Kenneally; a brother, Yerry Kenneally (Tate); five grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Mr. Kenneally was predeceased by his mother, Margaret O'Carroll Kenneally. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675 in Greg's memory.
