Obituary of Ernest Jones

Ernest ?Ernie? Caswell Jones was born March 18, 1978 in Columbia, SC to Jimmie and Polly Jones. He departed this life on November 2, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. To ask Ernie his proudest accomplishment can be said in one word: Janarah. Miss Janarah Michealle Jones was born to Ernest and Kiki Jones on February 9, 2001. The love this daughter and father shared was one of the most beautiful of any. As Janarah would say from the time she could speak, ?Just like my Daddy?. He will continue to live through her. Ernie was a graduate of Lower Richland High School class of 1996 where he excelled in mathematics. After serving in the United States Army he started his own wrecking business with his second wife, Andrea Haynes. Ernie then decided to go back to school and graduated from Keiser University, on the Deans List, where he obtained two of the top three awards given (Outstanding Clinical Performer and Professional Commitment Award), Jacksonville, FL. He was employed at Memorial Hospital as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in Jacksonville, FL. Ernest accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Daniel Circle, and remained active in his faith, until his passing. Your first impression would be big and mean. Within minutes, you realized he was just a big teddy bear. He was very loving and caring and always lived by an ?if I got it, you got it attitude.? Ernie was the life of the party, putting smiles on everyone?s faces. Whenever you knew he was coming, you knew that you were about to have a good time, whether you wanted to or not. Ernie loved to play practical jokes so you always had to stay alert. You couldn?t leave your cell phone lying around because a mysterious text message would go out to your friends. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest, trying to enjoy every single moment he could. He would barely sleep for fear he would miss something. Ernie leaves to cherish loving memories, daughter, Janarah Michealle Jones, Crestview, FL, parents, James and Pauline Jones, Columbia, SC, his loving brother, Earl (Shaneka Cox), nephew, Jayden Ernest Jones, Fayetteville, NC, fiancée, Deanna Herring, Jacksonville, FL a dear Aunt, Colleen Reid (Rob), Poplar Bluff, MO, uncle, George Woodburn, Seymour Texas, Great Aunts, Mrs. Ruth Kelly, Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Alice Jones, Haymarket, VA, Godmother, Mrs. Shirley Grant, Savannah, GA Cousins, a Nation of friends, and his motorcycle club, Ruff Ryders. Ernest is preceded in death by his and Deanna?s son, Ernest Caswell Jones II. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 12pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
