Obituary of Cheryl Bottomley

Cheryl King Bottomley CAYCE: Memorial service for Cheryl King Bottomley, 57, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Pastor Mark Bredholt. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lexington Medical Center Foundation, Losing Is Not An Option Cancer Support Group, Attn: Chris Gibson, Lexington Oncology Associates, 2728 Sunset Blvd., Suite 402, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mrs. Bottomley passed away Monday, November 12, 2012. Born in Whiteville, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Ermon King and Mildred Pearl Ezzell King. She attended Calvary Chapel of Lexington. Mrs. Bottomley was retired from Lexington Medical Center where she was a surgical technician. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother who bravely fought cancer for 12 years. Survivors include: her loving husband, Jackie Bottomley of Cayce; sons, William Joshua Adams of Folly Beach and Eric Len Bottomley of Cayce; daughter, Ashton Rose Bottomley of Cayce; two grandchildren, Olivia Grace Bottomley and Ethan Len Bottomley; also a sister, Vickie Goldsmith of Atlanta, GA. The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Madden at Lexington Oncology, nurses, Terri, Paige and staff, 8th floor oncology nurses and staff and 7th medical floor.
