Aunt Beulah was such a sweet wonderful person and I wish there were more people like her. I am sad to say the last time I seen her was when my dad (Johnny) and I went to visit her in the nursing home. We sat and talked for a long time. I really enjoyed spending time with her. As I was growing up we would visit her ever summer. I would play on her swing set and eat watermelon. She always gave me a piece of butterscotch when I came to visit her. I can still remember her with that big smile on her face and that butterscotch in her hand. I love you Aunt Beulah! I am sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral today but I know you are with me. I look forward to the day I can see you again. Love always- Sandy

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Going to miss my sweet Aunt Beulah. I remember when I was little and would run through her and Uncle Edwards house; she had this jar near the front door that always had cookies in it! She was always happy, laughing and singing. I remember her and Grandma Locklear singing hymns together; but most of all I remember her smile, touch and love for Christ. She was a sweet precious lady that touched my life in so many ways.

Mrs. Beulah has always been a prayer warrior. I remember when the big woods fire came through Lexington County from Camp Barstow in the 60's, the house was threatened. But she would not leave her house. She walked to & fro praying and speaking in tounges for God to protect their house - and He did. Super prayer warrior!

Grandma was such a special lady. Her love for Jesus and her family consumed her. She taught me in sunday school as a child and always sang in the church choir. She loved Christmas time and spending time with her family. She would insist that every christmas we were all to gather in her living room to sing christmas carols, play games, and read the christmas story. Even though we mianed and complained, deep down we all loved it! She had a way of bringing out the child in all of us at christmas. I am proud to call her my grandma and pray that I can leave a legacy like hers to my children! Grandma, please hug uncle sammie for me and tell davy hello for me. And tell Jesus we are patiently waitimg for his return when we will hug your neck again!!
