Obituary of Miss Estelle McDonald

COLUMBIA—A graveside service for Miss Margaret Estelle McDonald, 93, of Columbia, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens. Officiating will be The Rev. Joe Cal Watson. The family will receive friends following the service at graveside. Miss McDonald passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel V. McDonald and Margaret Mae Jones McDonald. She was a lifetime member of Main Street United Methodist Church and worked for Civil Service in Atlanta, GA. Surviving are her sister, Augusta McDonald Ellsworth of Columbia; brother, Charles E. McDonald of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore B. McDonald, Sr., S. Victor McDonald, Jr. and one sister, Nell M. Hodge.
