Obituary of Shirley McSwain

Shirley Bradford McSwain, age 88, of Columbia passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Daughter of the late Roy S. and Elsie H. Bradford, she was born on June 18, 1924 in Gaffney, SC. Widow of the late L.F. ?Mac? McSwain, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Jim Rowell; her granddaughters, Marcie Chestnut (Michael) and Jennifer Richter (Jim); great-grandchildren, Brittany Arnold, Katie Arnold, Hayden Richter, and Laurel Richter; a great-great-granddaughter, Bailey Elizabeth; and devoted family friend, Allen Arnold. A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. for the family at Greenlawn Memorial Park with a service to the witness and resurrection at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church on Friday, December 7, 2012.
