Obituary of Karl Krell

SWANSEA—A graveside service for Karl Wilson Krell, 70, of Swansea will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2012 in Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Friedrichs. The family will receive friends at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall following the service. Mr. Krell passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Ira W. Krell and Omeria B. Krell. He was an area resident for the past 30 years, formerly of Montana and a 1961graduate from St. Matthews School in Calhoun County. His greatest pleasure was gardening. He spent his teenage years farming his family farm in Sandy Run. Surviving are his sister, Karen Weed of Missoula, Montana; brother, James Krell of Charlo, Montana along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his dear friends for over 60 years, Gerald and Rebecca Starnes. A special thank you to Palmetto Health Hospice for the love and support showed to the family.
